I have been using IOS for years but it would appear that a number of useful shortcuts fail to stick in my mind or did not know. As a result I thought I would note some of them so I have a quick lookup page. I am sure that this list will grow over time as I lab more and more and therefore am more relaxed than playing than in my production environment.
- Ctl r or Ctl – redisplay the line if console message being displayed while typing
- show interface | in (is up |rate)
- define interface-range (name) (interfaces…)
- macro name (name)
- macro apply (name)
